The International School Winterthur (ISW), a non-profit organization, opened its doors in 2002 to serve the growing international community in the greater Zurich and Winterthur areas. Since then, the school has continued to grow in many ways.

Our students and families represent 28 nationalities in a growing enrolment numbering 144 students to date. We offer a full day school to all students ages 4 through 17 with the choice of three full days school for students age 3 in Early Years 1.

ISW is a school where teachers, students, and parents work collaboratively to create an uplifting spirit. We are a school that fosters the natural inquisitiveness and joy in learning that children bring to school. ISW offers a friendly, caring atmosphere within which the cultural diversity, individual talents, and interests of each student in the school are recognized, valued, and celebrated.
